Apartment Makeover!

Bryce and I are moving to a new apartment at the end of April and we have been planning on update all of our furniture when we moved. However, in true Kuck fashion, we didn't wait until we moved. Instead we spent this entire last week shopping and finding new furniture! Buying new things is always fun but this was such a blast! We spent a lot of time at IKEA and let me tell you, I am obsessed with that place. Everything came from either IKEA, Target, or Walmart. Super classy huh? It works for us. It's super simple but it made the world of difference to us to be able to choose new pieces for our house that we loveI love decorating and I am SO grateful to have a husband that loves it as much as I do! Doing this together was so fun! I thought I would share a couple of pictures, even though it's simple and may not seem like much, it means a lot to us :)
We actually got this table at Walmart. We were there buying a tv mount for our bedroom and stumbled upon this and immediately fell in love with it. We love the color and the high top table. It was very affordable, however all assembly required. That was fun...the first day we got the table we got it up the stairs into the apartment and immediately started putting it together. After 2 hours all we had finished was 2 chairs so we went to bed. The next day I finished putting it all together before Bryce got home! The lantern is from IKEA and the eggs inside the lantern are from Target. I bought the eggs I think because I just wanted to buy something but I actually really like them! They are not pastel and they have some gold which really match the clock below. We found the placemats at Target and really like how well they work with the table!
So we found the entertainment center at IKEA and love it! Funny story, up until now we have actually been using that now DVD stand as our "entertainment stand". So needless to say we are SUPER stoked to have this nice actual entertainment center!
When we first got married we got a super cheap ugly 80s couch at RC Willey. We didn't want to buy a whole new couch but the couch we have did not match anything in the house. So we found this grey couch cover at target. We love to color but don't totally love the look of the couch cover. But for now it will work! The rug is from IKEA and the pillows are from Target. LOVE LOVE LOVE these pillows!
Not pictured: we also got some new shower curtains and mounted our other TV on the wall in our room! Anyways, those are the small updates to our apartment! Hope you enjoyed!
